Never written a line of code in your life?
Worry not: the only requirement to apply to 42 Lisboa is to be at least 17 years old.
That aside, and regardless of your credentials, 42 doors stand wide open for you.
Your application starts with two online logic tests: one lasts 4 minutes and the other 2 hours. No programming skills are required to pass. Choose a quiet location with a good internet connection and take the test. In less than 48 hours, you’ll know if you have moved on to the next stage
During Check-in, you will spend half a day visiting the campus of 42 Lisboa, getting to know our team, the learning method, and other candidates like you. Throughout the year, you will have several Check-in dates allowing you to choose the one that suits you the most.
This is the last stage before joining 42. The Piscine is an intensive 4 week bootcamp in which you learn a lot about coding, teamwork, and about 42. It is the most challenging phase of the process, and those who pass it should be proud: they’ve just guaranteed the chance of a lifetime.
The 42 curriculum was designed for you to be free to develop skills in the areas you are most interested in. After acquiring the basics of coding in C (1-1.5 years), you will be free to specialize in the subjects you are passionate about.

We all have different productivity levels throughout the day and the week. Some of us are highly productive at night, others perform better in the early hours of the day. 42 Lisboa is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year so you have the chance to find out what works best for you and build your study schedule accordingly.
