The 42 curriculum includes 2 internships, a unique opportunity for companies to identify the best talent in the early stages of their career.
When hiring at 42 Lisboa, companies guarantee they find professionals with excellent technical competences combined with strong soft skills such as teamwork, problem solving, autonomy and resiliency.
By working closely with their peers, students learn to work in teams, manage their time, advance projects, communicate effectively and resolve conflicts to reach their goals.
42 students love what they do, are curious and determinant. They enjoy being challenged and can be quite resourceful. They are responsible for their own path and aware that their future is on their hands.
At 42, students learn how to learn. First the projects concentrate on language C so students learn how to be creative and solve problems from day one.
Being used to work in teams with people from different backgrounds, 42 students can easily integrate into a company. They also learn fast and easily adopt new technologies.
42 students understand a problem on a big picture level while also having great attention to detail. They understand a software needs to function 100% and will strive for that no matter how many tries it takes.
4 to 6 months internships
After completing the first stage of the curriculum, students enter a period of professional integration, to apply their knowledge in real scenarios and explore the areas that interest them the most.
Some students want to combine their progress at 42 with a professional experience. By doing so, they enrich their journey by applying their knowledge in real life challenges.
6 months internships
A gateway to the job market, this internship is available at the end of the program. Students are encouraged to show initiative and courage in order to apply what they have learned.
To recruit at 42 companies have to create their profile at companies.intra.42.fr. Each job opening can either be disclosed exclusively to the students at 42 Lisboa or to all students worldwide.
